Overall, my stay at Hotel Indigo New Orleans - French Quarter was a mixed experience. While the central location made it convenient for exploring the French Quarter, I found the room to be quite small and lacking charm. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and helpful, which added a personal touch to my visit.

Rooms
5.0
I stayed in an interior room that was neat and clean, but it was a bit small and lacked a view. The glass block window did not provide any real outside perspective, which was disappointing.
Service
7.0
The staff were polite and accommodating, always willing to assist when I had questions or needed help with my bookings. They even offered a late checkout, which I appreciated.
Location
8.0
The hotel is ideally situated, just one block from Canal Street and within walking distance to Bourbon Street and the French Market. This made it very convenient for accessing local attractions.
Dining
5.0
I found the breakfast options to be decent, featuring local coffee from PJ's, though I expected complimentary coffee rather than having to pay five dollars each morning. That was an unexpected expense.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel offers a welcoming drink at check-in, which was a nice touch. However, the absence of a pool was a letdown, as I had assumed it would be featured based on the photos.

I had a great stay at Hotel Indigo New Orleans, with its fantastic location just a block off Canal St and close to the French Quarter. The room was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring I got a good night's sleep after exploring the city. However, I found the room size a bit small, lacking some amenities like a fridge. Overall, it was a good experience, but the size of the rooms could use some improvements.

7.2/10

My stay at Hotel Indigo was nice overall, but it did have its ups and downs. The staff was friendly and offered great local recommendations, which really added to the experience. However, I found the additional daily fee quite annoying and unnecessary, especially since other hotels in the area didn't charge that. The location was fantastic, but the facility is starting to show its age, which took away from the ambiance a bit.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, helping me get a good night's sleep. However, some of the light switches seemed disconnected, and I felt like the room could use a little more light. Plus, soundproofing wasn't great, so I could hear my neighbors clearly.
Service
9.0
The staff was amazing! They were not only friendly but also very accommodating. I appreciated how they went out of their way to help with my requests and provided great recommendations for local dining.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was superb, right in the heart of the French Quarter and close to the streetcar stop. I loved that I could easily access popular attractions like Bourbon Street with just a short walk.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the breakfast options available in the lobby, especially from PJ’s Coffee. It was a nice way to start my day, although I was taken aback by the price of coffee at the hotel, which seemed excessive compared to my experiences elsewhere.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had some nice amenities like room service and a cozy lobby. Nevertheless, I found the daily amenities fee frustrating as it felt like an added cost for services typically included in the room rate.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Indigo in New Orleans, with a fantastic location just a block from the French Quarter. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, always ready to help with recommendations. However, the room was a bit on the small side and lacked an exhaust fan in the bathroom, which was somewhat inconvenient.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean and well-maintained, though it was smaller than I expected. The modern decor and comfortable bed made for restful nights, but I noted some paint splatters that could use attention.

I had a pleasant stay overall, as the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and offered great local recommendations. The location was ideally situated near the French Quarter, making it easy for me to explore the area without the loud noise from Bourbon Street. However, I did find some drawbacks, like the slow valet service that made retrieving my car a bit frustrating at times.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean and comfortable, but I really wished it had a mini fridge or microwave. Plus, the bathroom could use some upgrades for better convenience. Overall, a cozy space but definitely on the smaller side.
Service
9.0
The staff really stood out during my stay. They were all very polite, especially at the front desk, where they greeted me warmly and answered any questions I had. Their prompt attention to my requests made a positive impact on my experience.
Location

Being so close to the French Quarter was fantastic; I could easily walk to so many restaurants and attractions. It was also adjacent to the streetcar line, which made getting around the city much simpler.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed the coffee shop in the lobby for my morning coffee, and I appreciated the drink tickets offered at check-in. However, I wasn't impressed by the paid breakfast options, which felt limited.
Facilities

The valet service definitely needs improvement, as I experienced long waits when retrieving my car. But the common areas were always well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment.
